RING Sterling Marcasite Vintage Genuine Red Coral, Hand Carved, Size 6 Art Deco Openwork Filigree Cameo Ring. This beautiful Large Antique hand carved genuine coral cameo is wearing 8 Roses in her hair & Victorian dress. This ring is in pristine condition, except it had 12 prongs on cameo; only needs 4. One prong has broke half off. It is not marked Sterling but, It does test positive for Sterling. Back & sides of gem ring are left open. Face of ring is raised up a 1/2 ", rare face forward Cameo is carved in high relief another raised 1/4". So altogether it is raised 3/4 from base of ring. Face of ring is 1 1/4" long by 3/4" wide. Could easily be resized by a jeweler.

Please keep in mind, it is not advisable to wear a shell cameo ring everyday. As coral will wear down. I have seen many worn to nubs listed on other sites. This one is in like new condition.
