Up for your consideration is this OUTSTANDING, antique Chinese Qing period honey amber and coral necklace! It consists of 9 large natural honey amber beads which are hand carved with people, flowers, plants, and coins on their surfaces.

The two large nuggets closest to the clasp are carved as Lohan figures. These larger carved amber nugget beads are spaced with carved amber Shou and dragon beads, smooth amber beads, and woven Mediterranean coral beads. The large carved amber nugget beads range from approximately 30-49mm in length. The amber Shou beads average 13mm in length, and the smooth amber beads average around 12mm in diameter. The carving on these beads is very detailed and just superb!

This necklace measures approximately 30 in total wearable length. It is finished with a gold washed box clasp that is marked SILVER on the tongue. This piece is in overall EXCELLENT antique condition.
