This is a beautiful cherry amber complex color of orange red butterscotch amber FATURAN islamic prayer beads. The color is accurate in the photos deep. This prayer beads have been tested by a hot needle in an inconspicuous place revealing 100% bakelite smell results and have been tested with simichrome revealing a yellow stain. I believe were carved in the early 1900s. The cord is nylon thick 1.5mm and will stay there a lifetime. The total weight is 92 gms , all metal accessories weigh about 12gms , the beads are all equal but vary as they are hand carved and this is a rare color and rare form , also please look at details. Please look at the photos as they speak for themselves. The condition is excellent except for minor scratches with no cracks or defects , some wear from usage over the years. This is NOT recently carved or new bakelite , all original. This is not new lathe from old material , it is an old carving hard to find , hardly used absolutely no defects.
