Large antique 1920's cherry amber Bakelite foo dogs ornament Chinese base 1016g

  

An exceptional pair of cherry Bakelite carved Foo Dogs. Very well carved, with amazing detailing. Good colour slightly transparent cherry Bakelite.

Bakelite is tested as genuine. Old item, not modern carving Circa 1920's. Good condition, Bakelite shows a few small knocks. With a strong light, fractures can be seen internally. Wooden bases good but show signs of repair and chips.
