Each bead has a magnificently intense deep cherry amber colour, exquisite internal marbling / swirls and a brilliant translucency in various lighting conditions. The rich colour and extensive swirled marbling place these amongst the very finest vintage bakelite beads available. These exceptional beads have a most striking resonance of colour with the light passing through, which spectacularly illuminates the marbling of the bakelite.

The colour has to be amongst the most rich and intense available on the market. This stunning strand contains a total of 40 oval shaped beads of varying sizes. Unlike most necklaces which graduate to very small beads, even the smallest beads in this strand are of a very good size making them perfect for use as prayer beads. These stunning beads have been strung onto a double length of red cotton. The stringing remains strong and secure. This necklace is of a lovely longer length, slipping easily over ones head without the need for a clasp. SIZE: This necklace measures approx 69cms in length. The two largest beads flanking the central bead each measure approx 22.8mms in length x 18mms in width. The central bead measures 20.7mms in length x 16mms in width. The smallest beads are of a very good size and are far larger than most necklaces measuring approx 16mms in length x 11.8mms in width. An ideal size for prayer beads!!!!
